Our Local History Society organises regular lectures on a variety of topics. Talks are not only about Barnet, but also about wider interests. We would be delighted to see you!

Talks are held at St John’s Parish Church (Wood Street, EN5 4BW) beginning at 3pm, approximately 45 minutes long and are £2 or free to members of Barnet Museum and Local History Society.

Our lecture schedule is:

Monday 9th May: William Booth 100 Years on – a very modern Victorian
John Hall

Monday 13th June: The London Docks; Wealth, War and Wipe-Out
John Lynch

There are no talks in July and August.

Monday 12th September: East Barnet: Rural and Regal
