Explore its delightful avenues and ponds, its fantastic house, recently redeveloped, and some dark, spooky secrets, including Nazi generals, and the fascinating Camlet Moat (the famous rag-tree pictured) with its long history of pagan worship.
We meet outside Cockfosters tube station at 2.30pm, for a two-hour guided walk.
