WEA History of Fashion Course: What the Georgians and Victorians Wore
Led by tutor Amy Miller, this course explores the way male and female bodies were shaped to reflect an idealised form of beauty and how revolution, war and social movements influenced what people wore. It also look at how fashions from the 18th and 19th centuries have been reincorporated and referenced in the clothing we wear today. This is a 5 week, 2 hour class. Thursdays 2-4pm. 28/04 - 26/05.
