Fir and Pond Woods Nature Reserve: a warden’s view with speaker John Rowley

John has been the voluntary warden of this HMWT reserve situated on the outskirts of Potter Bar since 2018 but has been involved with the reserve for many years and knows its varied ecology and how that is managed. John will speak about the history of this remnant of the old Enfield Chase royal hunting forest.

The talk is well illustrated with photographs of the landscape trees, plants, fungi, animals and birds throughout the year and how they interact with each other.
