Oak Hill Parkrun
Free weekly timed run around Oak Hill Park starting at 9am. Please register before your first run and you only need to register once. Don't forget to bring a printed copy of your barcode. All details are on website. Meet by the tennis courts / bowls club close to the car park for the briefing and runners walk to the start together. The UK-Japan Music Society is presenting a performance of J.S. Bach's masterpiece, St John Passion, on Palm Sunday on 24th March 2024, hosted by St. John the Baptist Church, Barnet. It is a dramatic retelling of the Passion story in music and song, with words from St. John’s epistle and composed by J. S. Bach. It is written so beautifully and movingly, and through the music of Bach, you will reflect today's world around us and yet find there is hope for the humankind after this. SPRING FUN at St. John the Baptist Church, Barnet. We are happy to announce: Children Activity Day will be on Thursday 11th April 2-4pm, packed with lots of fun activities and games: • Decorating flower pots with name labels and stickers • Planting up runner beans and/or sunflower seeds • Bread making • Making a second banner for children’s chapel • Colouring pictures and word games • Games • Story time • Snack time
