As expected Ark have scaled down their application for a Pioneer Academy on the site of Underhill Stadium and, following the recent public consultation, another planning application has been submitted to Barnet Council.
The letter sent by the Council to local residents (dated 8 August) describes the proposal as “Demolition of the former Underhill Stadium and associated structures and development of the site to provide a part two, part three storey building for a secondary school and 300 place sixth form, provision of external sports facilities including MUGA (multi use games area), restoration of former sports pitches. Provision of car and cycle parking and landscaping.”
